DCLAW is a Dominican cross-border firm providing legal, corporate, compliance and governance services. It advises companies, family businesses and governing bodies on matters affecting their operations, structure and decision-making, either directly through its practice areas or by coordinating counsel and specialists in the Dominican Republic and other jurisdictions when the engagement requires it<\/p>

DCLAW is organized and operates under Dominican law and the ethical principles governing the legal profession. Depending on the nature of each engagement, it also incorporates the professional standards applicable to the disciplines it practices and, in cross-border matters, coordinates with duly qualified counsel and specialists in the relevant jurisdictions.<\/p>

Mariel Le\u00f3n Pimentel is the founding partner of DCLAW | Dominican Center for Legal Assistance, a Dominican firm advising on legal, corporate, compliance, and governance matters.<\/p>

A lawyer with more than twenty years in Corporate Law and International Legal Practice, she has concentrated her recent work on Corporate Governance and Compliance. Her career pairs legal practice with senior management: she has held executive, operations, and legal leadership roles, leading multidisciplinary teams in national and international organizations.
